"Malo" means "to rise" in Acholi - the language spoken in the communities we partner with in Northern Uganda. Bosco - a skilled artisan, former child soldier and father of five - handcrafts these beautiful baskets. Through his creations, he is able to rise above his struggles and provide for his family through fair, dignified work.
